THE ELITIST is an independent luxury publication. Our editorial judgment is our only asset, and we protect it. The standards below govern everything we publish, in print + online.

INDEPENDENCE

Editorial decisions are made solely by our editorial team. No partner, advertiser or hotel group selects, approves or reviews our coverage before publication. Placement in an edition is never for sale.

HOW WE CHOOSE WHAT WE COVER

Every destination, property + table in an edition is selected on merit — the quality of the experience, the strength of the point of view behind it, and whether it earns a reader’s time. We cover a season at its peak, and we omit far more than we include.

HOW WE REPORT

Coverage is grounded in first-hand reporting: visits, tastings, interviews + on-site photography wherever possible. Where we have not experienced something ourselves, we say so. Quotes are not invented, composited or altered for effect.

PARTNERSHIPS + DISCLOSURE

Partner content, sponsored features + affiliate relationships are labeled clearly wherever they appear. We disclose hosted stays, press trips + gifted experiences. See our Advertising Disclosure for the full policy.

ACCURACY + CORRECTIONS

We verify names, dates, prices + details before publication. When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and note the correction on the piece rather than quietly revising it. To report an error, write to info@theelitistglobal.com.

PRIVACY + DISCRETION

Members, hosts + subjects are treated with discretion. We do not publish private addresses, guest lists or details shared in confidence, and we honor off-the-record agreements.

IMAGERY

Photography is credited to its maker. We do not use generated imagery to depict a real place, person or event, and we do not retouch a property or dish into something a reader would not find on arrival.
